Nephrotic syndrome is a common disease. Because there are many causes of nephrotic syndrome, so the classification of nephrotic syndrome is also different. So what are the classifications of nephrotic syndrome?

Classification of nephrotic syndrome. It’s divide into two primary and secondary types, which are as follows:

Primary nephrotic syndrome: it is caused by primary glomerular diseases, such as minimal change nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, etc..

Mesangial proliferative nephritis, which occurs in child and young people and has an insidious onset, can also be an acute attack, accompanied by hematuria, characterized by microscopic hematuria, and mild and moderate hypertension.

Minimal change nephropathy is more common in children and adolescents. Easy to attack repeatedly, the better after the recovery.

Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis is more common in young people, and most of them are almost occult. The most common is nephrotic syndrome, followed by microscopic hematuria and progressive renal failure.

Mesangial proliferative nephropathy, frequently occurring before 30 years of age, has an acute onset. Almost all patients have microscopic hematuria, progressive renal failure, and about 1/3 of patients with hypertension.

Membranous nephropathy usually occurs at 35 years of age. It is characterized by insidious onset, slow development of the lesion, easy occurrence of renal vein thrombosis, and gross hematuria.

Secondary nephrotic syndrome: there are many causes of disease, such as systemic diseases, metabolic diseases, allergic diseases, infectious diseases, hereditary diseases, etc.. But there are only a few kinds of clinical common, such as systemic lupus erythematosus, kidney, diabetic nephropathy, renal amyloidosis, allergic purpura nephritis and so on.

Diabetic nephropathy occurs frequently in patients with a longer history of diabetes, and diabetic retinopathy is often paralleled with renal damage.

Purpura nephritis is more common in adolescents, and the incidence of respiratory infection is related to the winter can be seen more, hematuria is allergic purpura, kidney and kidney damage is the most common clinical manifestations.

Systemic lupus erythematosus nephropathy is common in young women, often manifested as multiple organ damage, blood can be found in lupus erythematosus cells, plasma globulin significantly increased.

The above is the nephrotic syndrome classification, believe you have a certain understanding of classification of nephrotic syndrome, if you still have what doubt on nephrotic syndrome classification, please consult our online experts.
